If Facebook Were A Country….Social Media Revolution Updated

Did you know that if Facebook was a country, it would now be the third largest country in the world?

50% of mobile Internet traffic in the UK is on Facebook.

Statistics can be interesting and these are. However, most everyone know the growth in social media is huge.  Here are several ways I use Social Media

1. Research: finding answers to questions using Google and YouTube is very valuable for me.

2. Developing “like minded” relationships. I have developed themed groups on Facebook and I know the people who have joined those groups are interested in the information I share.

3. Expanding the development of business using informative articles posted to blogs and inviting people to those articles on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.

Those are the Top 3 for me.  What about you?

Here are three Facebook Fan Page ideas. Whatever niche you are working in, you will be able to create a fan page and use it to:

    1) Build a relationship with both your prospective and existing customers and establish yourself as an authority in your niche

    2) Set up a lead capture form on your fan page to build an email list

    3) Build a buzz about a new product launch and market products and offers to a group of people who have specifically expressed an interest in you.

This is just scratching the surface of what you can do with a fan page

  2. I use mostly Face Book and Twitter and sometimes Digg for social media advertising as I believe they are probably the top three for this purpose, I use them for both my online ventures as well as for my brick and mortar business and it is quite helpful. Google Earth and Tom Tom are also very useful if used properly.

It’s truth that there social networks growing fast on the FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, but to generate directly the income from this type of socialize is not simple and easy to the norm. It’s just like everything else in the old tradition way of advertizing, it can be shutted down completely by the consumers, the consumers is not even bothered to review it or look at it when the screen is overflooded with it. The good thing about it is opended to the free market and affordable to the small business or each individual interest party. It’s wide opended to everyone now it becomes like throwing a dart to the board when one’s looking for services or products on the internet.

Hi very nice video Steve, this is what I talk about all the time to my clients, yet they still have a hard time grasping it!
As Facebook gets more recognized as a marketing tool, we’ll see them change the rules…
    Thanks
